Counselling
CatholicCare's School, Student and Family Program (SSFP) school counsellors promote the well-being and development of students and improve connectedness with families and the school community. Support may involve assessing and meeting the needs of students through counselling in areas including self-esteem and confidence, family, peer and teacher relationships, grief and loss, resilience, anxiety and depression, and body image concerns. CatholicCare's School Counsellors can also provide consultation and/or education, and resources and referrals to staff and families. Counsellors work to support the school in promoting wellbeing and fostering a positive learning environment.
Our counsellors provide a professional and confidential service to students and families in response to their particular needs. Referrals to Magdalene Catholic Collage counsellors, Bianca Scaramella and Ash Stevenson, can be made through the Pastoral Care Coordinator or your child's Year Coordinator.
