Learning Resource Centre
The Resource Centre at Magdalene Catholic College was established in 2002. The aims of the Resource centre are
- to facilitate access to resources to support the curricular and recreational needs of students and staff
- to encourage independence in learning and help equip students with the skills necessary to be effective users and creators of information.
- to foster a love of reading and literature.
- to provide a welcoming environment for school activities, community celebration and the display of student efforts.
The Resource centre is accessible at the following times:
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm
Homework Club will be available to students across all years from 2.45 - 4.30pm on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

Use the link on the right to access a wealth of information and learning support through our Learning Resource Centre: thousands of quality websites, encyclopedia and other information services. This is such a valuable addition to our learning resources.
Resource Centre staff will work in partnership with class teachers to design learning experiences which support the development of information literacy.
The Centre houses a small but growing collection of print resources. Students have access to the Resource Centre catalogue, a range of online reference tools, web authoring and multimedia software, Microsoft Office, Internet and email, CD and DVD.
